There's more than one way to experience The Inspired Mind. Every program is designed to spark curiosity through hands-on exploration. Whether you visit for an hour, a day, or an entire season, there's always something new to create, discover, and explore. Find the experience that's right for your family. Listed below are the types of programs The Inspired Mind offers. 

After School Workshops 
School is full of schedules and expectations. After school, we offer something different; a calm, inspiring space where children can decompress, follow their curiosity, create, collaborate, and end the day feeling confident and fulfilled. 

Our After School Workshops are available for registration on days when the Allentown School District is in session (although children from any district may join us). We offer programming from 3:30-6:30 PM, Monday through Friday during the school year. We can receive children directly from school if district bussing is available. Families may register their children for any number of days per week and do not need to come the same number of days each week.

Birthday Parties 
No two birthday parties at The Inspired Mind are exactly alike, because no two children are! We create memorable celebrations where curiosity leads the way, giving guests the freedom to build, create, experiment, and explore through engaging, hands-on experiences. Instead of following step-by-step activities, children choose from open-ended invitations to create, collaborate on fun challenges, and discover at their own pace. It's a one-of-a-kind celebration filled with creativity, laughter, meaningful play, and lasting memories. 

Birthday parties are held on weekends, typically in the afternoon, and include two hours of private celebration time. You're welcome to bring your own food, drinks, and birthday treats to make the day your own. When booking, you'll choose between our Creative Expression room or Build & Connect room, along with a party theme that reflects your child's interests. The birthday child and their guests will enjoy exclusive access to their own private party space, creating a fun, personalized experience that's uniquely theirs.

Class Trips
Turn your next field trip into a hands-on adventure at The Inspired Mind! Through art, science, building, and creative exploration, students engage in meaningful experiences that spark curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking. Our flexible scheduling, seamless planning, and experienced facilitators make field trips easy for educators and memorable for students, all at an affordable price.

Homeschool Enrichment 
Our homeschool programs complement the incredible learning already happening at home while providing meaningful opportunities for children to connect with peers. Through hands-on art, science, building, and creative challenges, children strengthen collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills in a supportive environment. With flexible scheduling and opportunities for parents to connect and build community, The Inspired Mind enriches the homeschool experience for the whole family.

Our Homeschool Program is offered TBD days per week. Parents/Guardians are able to select which dates during the school year their children attend, with no minimum amount of sessions required.

Open Play Sessions 
Slow down, get curious, and explore together. Open Play at The Inspired Mind offers a calm, creative environment filled with hands-on experiences that inspire imagination, creativity, and connection.

Children are free to explore art, building, science, and open-ended play at their own pace while caregivers join in the fun. Children younger than kindergarten are welcome when accompanied and supervised by an adult.

Open Play Sessions are available on the weekends, starting at 8:00 AM (for those early risers!) and ending at 12:00 PM. Admission is free for adults and children ages 2 and under. Adults are encouraged to participate alongside their children, making every visit a shared experience filled with discovery, creativity, and meaningful memories.

School Break Adventures 
When school is closed, The Inspired Mind is open! We offer enriching programs on many of the scheduled days off, holiday breaks, inclement weather closures, and Flexible Instruction Days in surrounding school districts.

Families enjoy the flexibility to register for just one session or spend the entire day; whatever fits their schedule. Children spend their time exploring hands-on art, building, science, and creative challenges in a fun, engaging environment designed to spark curiosity and creativity.
